Abstract
The 1,2,4-triphenylcyclopentadienyl ligand and the CHR carbene ligand, boun d respectively to the Co and W atoms in [(eta(5)-C5H5)W{mu-(CBuCC)-C-t(CO2M e)=C(CO2Me)CH}(mu-PPh2)Co(eta(5)-C5Ph3H2)], are derived from the oligomeris ation and cleavage of three molecules of phenylacetylene in the reaction of [(OC)(eta(5)-C5H5)W{mu-C(CO2Me)CC(C=C- Bu-t)(OMe)O}(mu-PPh2)Co(CO)(2)] wit h this acetylene.
