Abstract
The successful synthesis of carbon nanotubes within a flame environment usi ng metal nanoparticles supported on TiO2. The nanotube structures reflect t he metal catalyst particle shape. The name environment, furnishing molecula r and atomic radical species allows stabilization of chevron, stack-of-card s and accordion basal layer plane arrangements. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science B .V.
