Abstract
Electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) measurement of CsNiCl3 compound has b een performed at 192 GHz in the temperature range from 300 to 5 K, along th e axes of main g tensor. The energy levels and the g-factors are calculated . The linear thermal expansion coefficient (2.77 x 10(-5) K-1) for the Ni2 -Cl- bond distance is studied by combining EPR and optical absorption spec tra with changing temperature.
