)]ClO4, was prepared and characterized by H-1 NMR and X-ray crystallography
. The structure shows unusual features, including a highly ruffled macrocyc
le, and very strong intra- and inter-molecular hydrogen bonds. Crystal data
for [(TMCP)Co(H2O)(2)]ClO4. MeOH . 3H(2)O: C50.5H71ClCoN4O19 orthorhombic,
space group P2(1)2(1)2(1), a = 11.7432(7), b = 15.7240(9), c = 29.720(2) A
ngstrom, U = 5487.7(6) Angstrom(3), Z = 4. Full-matrix least-squares refine
ment of positional and thermal parameters, using 9641 independent reflectio
