Abstract
A large array of data on excitation cross sections of spectral lines o f titanium, zirconium, and hafnium atoms, obtained in experiments with extended crossed beams, are used to calculate the excitation cross se ctions of F-3(0)-states of these atoms. The results are discussed and compared with the theoretically derived values of cross sections for t itanium and zirconium atoms.
