St. Surzhikov, HEAT RADIATION OF LARGE-SCALE OXYGEN-HYDROGEN FIREBALLS - ANALYSIS OFTHE PROBLEM AND MAIN RESULTS, High temperature, 35(3), 1997, pp. 410-416
The main problems associated with the calculation of heat radiation of
fireballs formed as a result of explosions of rockets or major accide
nts at chemical plants are formulated and analyzed. The spherical harm
onics and Monte Carlo methods are used to calculate the spectral and i
ntegral radiation heat fluxes that are characteristic of oxygen-hydrog
en fireballs investigated in the PYRO experiments.
