Abstract
Portionwise addition of hydrogen peroxide markedly augments enantioselectiv ity of sulfide to sulfoxide oxidation catalyzed by vanadium (IV)-Shiff base complexes, and this effect cannot be explained by temperature fluctuations . V-51 NMR spectra of reaction mixture detect two chiral peroxo complexes a nd one achiral diperoxo compound. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
