Abstract
Calafianin (1) and two known compounds, aerothionin and (3,5-dibromo-2-hydr oxy-4-methoxyphenyl)-acetic acid, were isolated from the marine sponge Aply sina gerardogreeni. The structure of 1 was determined by NMR analysis and m ass spectrometry.
