Possibility of existence of a drift-wave and its role on the dust-Coulomb c
rystal formation in an inhomogeneous, magnetized, and collisional dusty pla
sma with a continuous ion flow has been examined. It is noted that dust cry
stallization takes place predominantly in the inhomogeneous region of the d
usty plasma with low magnetic field. The damping of the wake potential due
to ion-neutral collisions restricts the formation of dust crystal within a
few layers.
