Abstract
Granulomatous myopathies are rare. Most cases are associated with sarcoidos is. We report a case of granulomatous myopathy associated with primary bili ary cirrhosis, pancytopenia, and thymoma. The literature in regard to granu lomatous myopathy and its pathogenesis is reviewed. Intermittent pulsed int ravenous methylprednisolone may be useful as maintenance therapy for granul omatous myopathy and other neuromuscular syndromes for patients intolerant of oral corticosteroids.
