Abstract
We present a new bathymetric map of the Bay of Biscay and Northeast At lantic based on all available conventional and multibeam data. Bathyme tric and magnetic data are used to define the main features of the Bay of Biscay and in particular the western limit of the Bay of Biscay st ricto sensu as well as the Iberia/Europe plate boundary which was acti ve during the formation of the Pyrenees.
