Abstract
[GRAPHICS] Catalytic intramolecular hydrosilation of nonracemic homopropargylic alcoho ls affords the corresponding five membered cyclic siloxanes regiospecifical ly. Oxidation or alkylmetal addition converts these intermediates into beta -hydroxy ketones or vinylsilanes under mild conditions.
