The distribution of heterochromatin on the chromosomes of Vicia hybrida L.
(2n=12), V. hirsuta (L.) S. F. Gray (2n=14), V. tetrasperma (L.) Schreb, Sp
ic. (2n=14) and V. sativa L. subsp. nigra (L.) Ehrh. (2n=12) have been esta
blished with the aid of the C-banding technique.
