Abstract
The accurate pre-operative staging of all potentially malignant tumour s of bone is essential. We report three cases of Ewing's sarcoma of bo ne in which MR imaging identified skip metastases not visualized on ei ther contemporary radiographs or bone scintigraphy. The implications f or patient management and possible reasons for the other imaging modal ities failing to reveal the skip metastases are discussed.
