Abstract
In the migratory locust, the CRF-related diuretic hormone that stimulates f luid secretion by the Malpighian tubules, and the ovary maturing parsin, a neurohormone able to stimulate oogenesis, are produced by the same neuroend ocrine cells of the pars intercerebralis in the brain.
