The magnetic behavior of La1-xSrxCuO2.5 has been investigated by means of m
uon spin relaxation (mu SR). The Neel temperatures T-N for several Sr conce
ntrations (0.0 less than or equal to x less than or equal to 0.20) have bee
n measured. We found that T-N is about 125 K in the insulating region, and
10-15 K in the metallic region, suggesting that the hole carriers are local
ized in the insulating region and delocalized in the metallic region. (C) 2
