Abstract
We report on low energy muon spin rotation (LE-mu SR) measurements of the m agnetic penetration depth lambda(ab) of a 700 nm thick YBa2Cu3O7-delta film . The temperature dependence of the penetration depth is in good agreement with the results from conventional mu SR measurements on single crystals. T his demonstrates the potential of the new technique for thin film studies. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
