Abstract
We study the effect of the periodic small signals and noise in the Hindmars h-Rose model of neuron. We found that the stochastic and the chaotic relaxa tion oscillations can transform into qualitatively different periodic oscil lations under the action of the same small signal. The type of the steady o scillations depends on the moment the signal is turned on. The obtained res ults might be used to qualitatively explain ambiguity of the image sensing by the human eye.
