Abstract
The authors search, by a rapid test based on latex agglutination, for rotav irus in faeces of foals with diarrhea. Seventy-one arab thoroughbred foals were explored, among them 50 showing di arrhea at the time of the exploration and 21 safe foals were taken as a con trol group. Rotavirus were found in faeces of 6 foals among 50 foals with diarrhea (12% ). Some correlation according to age, sex and heath statut were brought out .
