Abstract
The authors present, comment and discuss the results of a canine and human ehrlichiosis sere-prevalence survey, realised on 153 dogs and 195 dog maste rs in Tunisia. The seroprevalence of ehrlichiosis is 68.62 % and 4.1 % in dogs and dog mas ters, respectively. In the seropositive dogs, thrombocytopenia is the most frequently observed abnormality (63.3 %). Age at the time of incorporation in the unit correlat es with antibody titre.
