Abstract
The structure of low-lying levels in odd-mass Pb isotopes (193 less th an or equal to A less than or equal to 205) is investigated in terms o f a number-projected one- and three-quasiparticle BCS approximation. A surface delta interaction is taken as the residual nucleon-nucleon in teraction. Excitation energies, spectroscopic factors, magnetic dipole and electric quadrupole moments are calculated and compared with the experimental data. (C) 1997 Published by Elsevier Science B.V.
