The modeling problem of calculation of the rate and order of a two-channel,
two-particle ionization reaction occurring at a single active center of a
surface is considered. The model describes adsorption, on the surface, of s
pecies of one sort, whose activity (concentration) is used to calculate the
rate and order of the reaction. Cases of the presence and absence of diffu
sion limitations in the reagent supply to the reaction zone are considered
and analyzed. In the last case, the concentration distribution surfaces in
the bulk solution are calculated.
