Abstract
A quantitative definition of cent kernel whiteness, and a fast, accurate, a nd easy to perform approach to measure corn whiteness was developed. The wh iteness values of 63 corn samples with large color variations were measured . Representative results were presented and whiteness values were able to s how color differences of corn kernels quantitatively and reliably.
