Abstract
The chapter referring to neuromuscular disorders of the updated, sixth edit ion of German guidelines for the evaluation of illness and the ability to d rive motor vehicles is presented and commented on. Contrary to other diseas es there were not many changes made in comparison to the last edition. Prop osals for necessary adaptations in the seventh edition are made.
