Abstract
Thietanols, thiolanols, and thianols (tetrahydro-2H-thiopyran-3-ols) can be obtained by a fluoride-mediated cyclization of (Z)-alpha-silyl vinyl sulfi des containing an omega-carbonyl function in the chain bonded to the sulfur .
