Abstract
Raman spectra of Rb2ZnCl4 in paraelectric phase has been studied, with spec ial attention to internal vibrations of ZnCl4 groups. Violations of symmetr y selection rules observed that attributed to orientational disorder of the se groups. New lines appearance is ascribed to distortions of the groups' p olarizabilities rather than their dynamics, in disordered structure.
