Collection of multielement reference samples exemplifying natural and technogenic media in the Baikal region

Active research of natural and technogenic media in the Baikal region, with the use of a large body of programs and projects, requires serious metrolo gical support of the analytic work. A collection of reference samples (RS) exemplifying the composition of various media from this region is called to solve this problem. The collection will consist of the samples prepared, u nder preparation, and to be prepared, and it will reflect geologic, geograp hic, and ecological-geochemical features of the region under study.
