Abstract
A simple and convenient solvothermal process has been developed for the pre paration of CuInE2 (E = S, Se) nanorods from the elements in ethylenediamin e at 280 degrees C. Liquid In and the strong capacity of ethylenediamine we re found to play important roles in the nanorod growth and electron-transfe r process.
