Abstract
The authors investigate the impact of external sources on the pattern forma tion of concentration profiles of passive tracers in a two-dimensional shea r flow. By using the pullback attractor technique for the associated nonaut onomous dynamical system, it is shown that a unique temporally, almost peri odic concentration profile exists for the temporally almost periodic extern al source.
