Abstract
After the injection treatment of a femoral pseudoaneurysm, an anaphylactic reaction occurred in a patient undergoing hemodialysis who previously had r epeated exposure to thrombin. Before injecting bovine thrombin in patients with a history of prior exposure, we recommend that they undergo skin prick testing to detect possible allergy.
