Abstract
Intra-articular injection of drugs is increasingly used in human medicines. We report a method for the direct administration of a test substance to th e synovial fluid of the canine stifle joint. This method caused little dist ress or pathology, malting it suitable for pre-clinical assessment of new d rugs in dogs and other species.
