Abstract
The model of refractive indices changes in He-implanted LiNbO3 and LiTaO3 o ptical waveguides is presented. It is assumed that the changes are defined by the molar volume increase and spontaneous polarization decrease induced by the interaction of crystal lattice with ion beam.
