Abstract
beta-Phosphonyl-beta-chlorovinylaldehyde was synthesized through chloroform
ylation of the Vilsmeier reagent with acetylphosphonate, and reacted with h
ydrazine, oxyammonia, formamidine, and guanidine to give the corresponding
phosphonyl heterocyclic compounds.
