Abstract
The effect of a magnetic field on the electrical polarisability of a shallo w donor placed at the centre of a semiconductor spherical microcrystallite is studied in the framework of the effective mass approximation and using a variational approach. Variations of the polarisability of the system versu s the crystallite radius and magnetic held strength are analysed in the inf inite confinement potential case.
