Abstract
The nature of stable and transient color centers in Y3Al5O12, Gd3Ca5O12, YA lO3 and LiNbO3 crystals is studied. The color centers are created by variou s types of irradiation. The effect of irradiation on crystal optical proper ties in visible and ultraviolet range is presented.
