Emission bands at 355, 430, 465, 530, 590 and 730 nm are observed in CsI:Pb
system, after annealing at 220-370 degrees C for 20 h. Their relative inte
nsities depend strongly on annealing temperature. Absorption and excitation
spectra of 465-590 nm emissions have maxima near 410 nm, i.e. in the regio
n of exciton absorption band of bulk CsPbI3. Thus the creation of CsPbI3-li
ke aggregates in CsI matrix is not excluded. The origin of the emission ban
ds and creation mechanism of CsPbI3 aggregates are discussed.
