Using he example of the sequence of two first order reactions:

the paper investigates the validity of the quasi steady-stage approximation
(QSSA) under non-isothermal conditions. It is shown that the value of the
heating rate plays an important role in the validity of this approximation
and a limit value for it has been found. It is demonstrated that below this
limit the steady-stage approximation is also valid for non-isothermal cond
itions but the validity is questionable for experiments that use higher val
ues of the heating rate.
