Abstract
Quantitative, replicated altitudinal transects yielded 30 helicarionid spec ies in five genera in four subfamilies. Descriptions are given of Kalidos b alstoni (Angas, 1877); K. fenni sp. nov.; K. prenanti Fischer-Piette, Blanc , Blanc & Salvat, 1994; K. richardi sp. nov., K. striaspiralis sp. nov.; K. vasihae sp. nov.; K. zahamenensis Fischer-Piette, Blanc.
