Abstract
The synthesis and antimicrobial activity of a series of the title thiones w ere examined. Reaction of such thiones with hydrazonoyl halides, resulted i n ring transformation to give 5-acylhydrazono derivatives of 1,3,4-thiadiaz oles. The mechanisms of the studied reactions are discussed.
