Transmetallation reactions of planar chiral cyclopalladated and cyclomercurated ferrocenylimines with metallic tin

A series of optically active cyclostannated ferrocenylimines were synthesiz ed by transmetallation of optically active cyclopalladated and cyclomercura ted ferrocenylimines with metallic tin, respectively. All of the yielded co mpounds were characterized by elemental analysis, IR and H-1 NMR. The cryst al structures and absolute configurations of the complex were determined by X - ray diffraction and checked by CD spectra.
