Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs are widely used and relatively safe me
dications. We report here an uncommon case of fluid retention simulating ac
ute congestive heart failure, secondary to aspirin consumption, promptly re
versible after discontinuation of therapy, and triggered again by pharmacol
ogical challenge test.
