Abstract
The electron paramagnetic resonance spectra of La0.9M0.1CoO3 (M = Eu, Ce) c an explain the lower oxygen availability observed with the Eu-, with respec t to the Ce-doped catalyst for methane flameless combustion. With the forme r sample, paramagnetic O- ions adsorb more easily on the internal-pore surf aces, forming ferromagnetic spin bags.
