Abstract
If at the beginning of the 20th century the question as whether man would e
ver be able to go into space, at the turn of the 21st century its is, when
will people habitually be able to travel into space? David Ashford, Directo
r of Bristol Spaceplanes Ltd, shows how soon an infrastructure can be devel
oped that will give the public access to orbit.
