Musculoskeletal problems of neurogenic origin

A number of neurological disorders can manifest as isolated pain or as join t, muscle or bone alterations. These manifestations can raise significant d iagnostic challenges when they occur early, before the development of neuro logical and/or radiological abnormalities. This chapter discusses neuropath ic osteoarthropathies, neurofibromatosis, Parkinson's disease, multiple scl erosis and the complications of central nervous system lesions.
