Abstract
The quadratic electrooptic coefficient of narrow symmetric-coupled GaAs-Al0 .2Ga0.8As quantum wells has been measured for light having a range of detun ed wavelengths with TE polarization and is found to be 2-3 times larger tha n that of single quantum wells equivalent overall width.
