Abstract
Field data were used to prepare a life table for Gynaicothrips ficorum (Marchal) during the rainy season of 1991 in San Jose, Costa Rica. Th ere was a high mortality in the egg and pupa I stages, and predation b y ants and spiders inside the gall was observed.
