Abstract
Recent improvements in the speed of numerical compositional simulators has made it possible to use a large number of grid blocks to model condensate r eservoirs, volatile reservoirs, and gas injection projects. This paper disc usses techniques for choosing pseudo components so as to use four to five p seudo components for the simulations. It also discusses the condensate drop out in the reservoir and its effect on the productivity of individual produ cing wells. The methods for characterizing fracture networks in a naturally fractured reservoir are presented and other parameters which affect hydroc arbon recovery are discussed as part of a parametric study.
