Abstract
Water distilled oil of the herbal parts of Nepeta fissa (Labiatae) was anal yzed by GC/MS. Thirty seven compounds representing 95.1% of the oil were id entified with caryophyllene oxide (24%) and beta-caryophyllene (8.3%) as ma in constituents.
