Abstract
The leaf oil of Artemisia scoparia Waldst et Kit. (Asteraceae) was analyzed by capillary GC and GC/MS. Monoterpenes and phenyl propanoids amounted to 81.7%. The more important costituents were found to be gamma-terpinene (21. 8%), eugenol (20.4%), eugenyl valerate (5.5%), limonene (5.0%), p-cymene (4 .6%), eugenyl isovalerate (4.2%) and eugenyl butyrate (2.9%).
