Abstract
The Ph and Ni catalyzed hydrosilylation of butadiynes to chiral allenes in the presence of chiral phosphine ligands is described. For the first time a n enantiomeric excess up to 27% was achieved using [Rh(COD)Cl](2)/(-)-PPM a nd up to 11% using NiCl2[(-)-DIOP]. (C) 2000 Published by Elsevier Science S.A. All rights reserved.
